“Why not?”
“Why be at your boring, old home if you can be here enjoying all the candy you want?”
“My family is there,” you tell him. “My mom and my dad and…”
“No!” he cuts you off. “At least, not yet. Tell you what: if you go have fun and
play with the other kids, I’ll send you home to your boring old parents.”
“Okay,” you say, and so you head to the candy-made playground.
