"I just want to talk for a little bit longer," you say.
"Alright. Since you seem to be okay after what happened earlier... Why don't I take you to this little place I know in town and we can talk over lunch or something?"
It sounds as though it could be a good plan but you don't have that much time left. It might take five minutes just to get over to wherever the restaurant is. But then again, you probably don't even have enough time to go back into the house.
As you consider what you want to do, you can see a little girl on the sidewalk behind Alexis take notice of something on the road. She gets up, dropping the sidewalk chalk she had been playing with, and walks toward the middle of the road.
Do you:
- Ignore the little girl, and continue talking to Alexis without committing to action since that is really all you have the time left to do?
- Tell the little girl to get off of the road because it is dangerous?
