The book describes the setting, actually a dark manor hidden behind the hills of Red Olive, a fictional location, and the atmosphere engulfing it to be a surreal, unpredictable trip to the unknown.
As Leena grabbed Kevin's hand with hers, she felt someone pass behind the lines of trees she looked at. She dragged Kevin with her, and investigated the scene . . .
"That looks interesting." It's the woman beside you speaking, who snapped out of her activity upon seeing you read the book. She's peeking at it, and you think she's getting rude for interrupting you, but nevertheless you're glad she has an interest in this.
