You put the glass to her lips. She drinks some of the water.
"Thanks," Emily says. "But my leg still hurts."
"Maybe you should rest," you say. "Stay right there."
You track down George and bring him into the room. Emily rests one arm around you and one around her father, and the two of you manage to carry her into her room, where you lie her on her bed.
"Watch her for a moment," you say to George. You track down an icepack and some medical supplies. With George's help, you secure the icepack to Emily's damaged shin and wrap it tightly with a roll of bandages.
You and George leave the room and let Emily sleep. After a pleasant conversation, you realize it's getting late.
