Let the prince go free

You tell the prince that he can go free but he will do so, naked. He does not have much choice but to accept.
It's a long way to his castle as he has to walk back. The ground is rough and painful to his bare feet.
He makes it back to the palace, his feet bleeding.
But you also gave him a message to give to the queen. She is to surrender her kingdom to you.
As you await a reply, you realise that you might be biting off a bit more than you can chew.
