Holly is slender, but her wrists are exceptionally strong. With a sickening CRACK, she snaps Annabelle's neck. She then mercy-kills broken-armed Joe with her crossbow.

With the traitors dead, no more zombies make it into the castle. All of you hope that either humanity will come up with a cure that can turn zombies back into humans, or at least that a helicopter will come and rescue you. But neither happens.

You live out your lives in the castle, gradually over decades dying one by one of disease or old age. You are the last survivor, making it to the ripe old age of 85.

As you lie all alone in your bed, terribly weak, knowing when you go to sleep you will never wake up again, you think about the last 65 years of your life stuck in the castle and wonder if it would have been better to die heroically in battle against the zombies.
