"Freeze!" Ben shouts, aiming his pistol at Holly.

She whirls around. "Ben, what the fuck..."

"It's you, isn't it! That's why you wanted to interrogate Joe alone, and why he's conveniently escaped!"

"Ben, that's nuts! I swear, I was..."

Suddenly, there is a gunshot and Ben falls dead to the floor. You whirl around, pistol in hand. Then a second shot rings out and you fall, a hole in your chest. Your pistol sails loose.

You look up. You see Joe standing there, smirking...and right next to him is Annabelle, a large black handgun that is still smoking in her hand.

"Annabelle?!" cries Holly. "YOU?! How could you..."

"Sorry, but I don't have time for explanations right now." With that, Annabelle shoots Holly through the heart, then aims her gun at your head.

Suddenly, Jack storms into the room, rifle in hand. "I heard shots. What the hell..."

The distraction is just enough. As Annabelle and Joe turn to face Jack, with the last of your strength you reach over and grab your gun, which is lying on the carpet next to you. You fire a shot into Annabelle's head.

"It was them..." you gasp. "Annabelle and Joe...She just murdered Holly and Ben..."

Joe turns to run, but Jack shoots him down. Jack then looks at you. "Marina...I'll get help."

"I'm already dead," you say with your last breath. "Just be careful who you trust from now o..." You cough and spasm, then close your eyes permanently. Your last thought before you expire is that at least justice was done.
