"Fine," you agree, "I'll bed down here."
You will have but your cloak to make yourself comfortable, but the fire is close enough to offer warmth, and lying with the three Elvin makes up for having to sleep on the ground.
You spread out your cloak on the earth and sit down. The distant fire warms your face. The Elvin glide over and gracefully settle in a loose circle around you. "Such a cautious traveller." They titter amongst themselves like wind chimes.
They begin to inch closer, pressing their slender frames closer. You catch the scent of wildflowers on their bodies. They tug playfully at the foreign fabric of your clothing.
“We have the night to ourselves,” one coos, running a hand through your hair. “How will we keep entertained?”
