Jump clear of the trap

You jump forwards as three saplings snap upright in front of you. Each is fitted with sharpened stakes which whip up towards you at heart level. You have but a moment to see they are red with dried blood, before your jump has driven you into them with impaling force.

You are impaled on the fiendish device and your journey has ended here. Your head will soon be put on a spike by Headhunters.
