Head farther into the basement to find the other suspect

"Let's go." You motion for Cooper to follow you. One of the newly arrived policemen takes point at the office door.
You head down the stairs calling out "Police! Is anyone here?" At the bottom of the stairs, is what looks like a rec room. There are a few sofas, and a TV in one corner. On a table there are a couple of empty wine bottles. Under the table is a... bra? It looks like someone is having a good time.
"Movement." Your partner has her hand on her gun ready for a quick draw. She's moving toward the small kitchen attached to this room. "Police!"
Inching forward, you see that there are two individuals, one male - caucasian, and one female - possibly latino. This one has a strong will. I'm even starting to think like him. These two people were hiding in the kitchen. Judging by the wine bottles, and their current state of undress, they were the ones having the good time. Right now the woman is crying.
"Don't tell Father Hrunting."
Ha! Of course. This woman is a nun, and she's just been caught in an act of adultery. I couldn't have arranged it better. The nun has a very nice body too. It's too bad she hides it under that habit. If you weren't so preoccupied by looking for answers about these people in body armor, you'd consider having a go at this nun yourself.
Your partner is already on her shoulder radio. "Two coming up." She directs the lovers to the stairs. "Get upstairs where it's safe." They head up the stairs, still arranging their clothes as they go.
The rest of the basement just looks like storage space. There are Chr... ugh... Christmas wreaths and other holiday decorations, as well as boxes full of old clothes marked "shelter". There are a couple of other rooms that look like they're mostly unused, as a thick layer of dust sits on the tables.
At the end of the hall there is a lone bookshelf that looks very out of place.
