Go down to the water for a quick swim

You decide to show off a little bit and take off your shirt before heading down to the water for a quick swim. You know that even though you aren't built like an Adonis, your lean body is perfectly defined and chiseled with granite-hard muscles. Women definitely find it attractive. As you head for the water you hear the woman's phone ring and try to listen to her conversation, without appearing nosy. It is only short, and the only words you hear clearly from her are, "Ok, I will see you soon."
Your heart sinks as you begin to think you have chosen the wrong area of the beach to try to pick up, and that the magnificent woman you have set up near must have a boyfriend or husband, and that you were an idiot to think otherwise. Although you are not a very strong swimmer you throw yourself into the water and take out your frustrations on the sea as you swim about 20 metres away from the beach. You gather your thoughts together and accept that you will just have to stay on the beach long enough to not make it obvious that you are only there to pick up and then you can move somewhere else.
You turn around and start heading back into shore, not really taking a lot of notice of what is happening on land. You take the last few strokes toward the shore before the water becomes too shallow and you start walking back to your towel. You realise that the gorgeous looking woman has gone, but has left her umbrella and towel on the beach.
