"Sorry for not being here when you got up your father is raising some issues so I'm heading up to the cities to talk to our lawyer, probably won't be back til this tomorrow evening. Left you some cash for food, and Floyd is right next door if you need anything"
Your not all that surprised,so you simply have some breakfast during which you realize this is the first time you can have someone over without having to compete with mom for attention or risk embarrassment via moans from the back of the house.
