Follow the Templar

You walk with the Templar to the church. You are trained as a Templar Knight the next day.
It has been 3 months. You are still 16, and still have the knife, but you have grown taller, stronger, and smarter. And, today you finally get to select your own horse. As you head to the stables, though, you see smoke. Running as fast as you can, you reach the stable to see strange creatures with torches burning the stables. One turns toward you, snarling when it sees that a Templar is here. It has a human's figure, but rather than a head there is only a skull, with what appears to be tusks coming out of the side of it's head, as well as horns similar to a bull's. It's arms are made of flesh, as is, presumably, the rest of it's body. It wears a simple tunic and black trousers, wields a hammer and wooden shield, and is as tall as you are. As it runs towards you, you raise sword and shield, and:
