You chant quickly and take flight! You angle yourself so your trajectory intersects your girlfriend's. You open your arms wide and she slams into you. While she herself is relatively light, her armor is not. Her momentum carries you both to the ground. You serve as your girlfriend's cushion and take the brunt of the impact.
"Ouch," she says. "I bet that hurt you more than it hurt me. But nice save, anyways."
"No problem...," you say with a groan.
The tentacle monster gurgles.
