You draw your sword to finish the bloody work.
As the Wolfhound weakly opens its jaws to bite, you plunge your blade through its skull. It collapses to the floor, now destined to be nothing but a rug for all time. Around the dead Wolfhound's neck is a collar which interests you – a strangely valuable ornament for a beast.
With the howling and wailing of the Wolfhound gone, the hut and the village seem terribly quiet once more. You head back outside.
