Convince Derek to Cut school with you

You follow Derek and tap him on the shoulder when you are both off the bus.
“Hey Derek,” you call, blushing. "Wanna ditch today?”
Derek turns around with a huge grin. “Sure, bud.” He quickly takes your hand and pulls you over to the parking lot. “I know a great place to hide - something called the mall! Let's go.”
You follow right beside him, blushing a bright cherry red. Every time you think of something to say, you get nervous to speak. About halfway to the mall, you look up at Derek and see him looking right back at you.
“Nervous, bud? Just relax. We will not get in trouble,” he places his arm around your shoulders.
Sweating and panicking, you quickly look for a way to respond.
