You quickly climb to the roof of the building. From this high vantage point you can clearly see Captain Koessler and the crew, including Jed and the rest of your squad, completely surrounded by mean-looking space pirates.

Or possibly more Space-Vampires. You can't rule that out entirely.

Using the magnification function of your goggles, you zoom in to see Captain Koessler talking to a morbidly obese sack of crap that you presume is like, the irate's leader or something.

Johnson uses his PAD to give you sound on the conversation. The Captain Speaks
