You cast your spell, and watch as the villager's shoulders slump. All the fight has gone out of him. He sits down in the mud, staring off into the distance.
"Greetings," you declare. "I need to know things from you." The man only grunts in reply. He is too depressed to talk! You leave the man to his dismal thoughts.
You stride on into the very centre of the village. There are a few larger houses here – even Poonani has its nobility, it seems. But the only spot of interest is a small inn offering food for sale.
