You panic. The first thing that comes to mind is to run off the island. You run toward the ocean and juggle your legs through the water to get into the ocean. Once your full body is in the water you start swimming as fast as you can. You swim and swim but it doesn't seem to do anything. You look back and see that the island isn't that far away.
