"Its bee a while since we had a tintreach here," Professor Ounae says. "Welcome to Alyrrawood University."
"Thank you, Professor," you say. You leave the office and make your way back down the hall, examining your schedule as you go. You have atmospheric dynamics, computer sciences, and mythic literature before lunch, unicorn studies and cooperative learning before dinner, and vampire 101 after. It'll keep you busy, that's for sure.
Next, you make your way across the moderately-sized campus to the dormitory building and find your room. When you enter, there's already someone in there, unpacking their bags. He looks like a human, with dark brown hair and bright green eyes. He's sitting on his bed, leaning back against the wall and reading a book, but he glances up when you enter.
"Hello," he says with a smile. "Are you my roommate?"
"I guess so," you say. "I'm Tazili, a tintreach fey."
"Oh, a lightning faerie?" the human asks. You nod. "Nice to meet you. I'm Ixi. Well, Faranixi, actually, but everyone calls me Ixi. I'm an earth mage."
"Nice to meet you, too," you say.
