0006-Use your card at the restaurant
From Create Your Own Story
Screw it, you don't need cash. If Jason wants the tip the waitress with cash, he can use his own. You're perfectly fine with paying with your card. Plus, you just want to get out of there as fast as possible. You have no idea what was going on with all those people upstairs.
You walk out of the building and Jason lights up a smoke. "Nothing's better than that first drag of the morning." he says as he lets the smoke out of his lungs. The smell of it entices you, but you can't have one. You just quit, and you're not turning back. Not yet at least.
You start heading up the street towards the restaurant. There appears to be a traffic jam at the next intersection. You can't really tell what's going on, but all the cars seem to be nearly at a full halt. As you get closer, you see that the cause of the jam is from two cars that crashed in the middle of the intersection. They're empty. There's blood on the ground, but nobody around it. Traffic is slowly moving around the abandoned and bloody vehicles. You keep moving.
You're almost at The Cookie Box, you're favorite place to eat breakfast. You only have an alley and two more streets to pass before you make it. The thought of their never-ending breakfast buffet keeps you moving swiftly towards the finish line. The finish line being the front door of the restaurant. You're crossing the alley as you hear Jason yelling followed by a loud crashing sound.
"GOD DAMN! I almost killed myself tripping over this stupid shoe string!" He screams out. You almost can't hold in your laughter. He tripped over his shoestring and fell right into a group of garbage cans. He has trash all over him. The only thing that makes this even better, is the smell he has acquired from the garbage. "Phew, Jason, I thought you smelled bad before..." you taunt him as he finishes tying his shoe.
Just then, you hear a groaning coming from up the alley. Looking in the direction of the noise, you see a leg sticking out from the other side of a dumpster. Somebody is sitting over there and it sounds like they're in pain. You're less than a block from the jammed up intersection, so it might be one of the people involved in the accident. The person lets out another loud groan and your heart drops into the pit of your stomach, which is now growling from the hunger.
You really want to go eat, but you don't know if you'll feel right just leaving this person sitting there in pain. You see a police officer walking down the street in your direction. That seems nearly perfect timing, considering you may have just stumbled upon a person from the accident down the road...
