Having won the argument (if that's what you want to call it), you devour the bacon, gather your gear and set out to defeat the monster. You get into town just in time to find your Valkyrie girlfriend being thrashed about in the air by the unsavory tentacled beast. She is struggling to break free of it, but you can see she at least had her battle axe on her. When she strikes the monster with the axe, it goes flying out of her hands. It strikes you, stinging slightly, but you carry on. You have to help somehow.
Do you:
- Try to roast the monster with flame magic
- Try to freeze the monster with ice magic
- Cast a time spell on the monster
- Try to distract it
- Decide you aren't taking on that freak and run away.
