Story

Part 2-1: The Start of Some Journey

The story began in Cindek, in Lyrids Town, where Relvia the Kirlia was spinning around to gather other Pokemon’s attention. She revealed that she planned on taking the Cindek Pokemon League Challenge, and (somehow) recruited Iris and Lucky. The Cloud showed up and dropped Tron, Hydra, Dr. P and Danny onto the ground. They were thrown into the group as well. They then met Professor Persimmon, the leading Professor of the region, who revealed a slab he found and that he deciphered it to say the 7 of them were destined to meet. That was all he found so far, though. They were then signed up for the Cindek Pokemon League. Then there was a short scene with Opt, although his identity was not yet revealed.

Part 2-2: She Rose From Below

As they were heading through Route B, they ran into a Lileep named Rose. Rose ended up attacking them, and Relvia fought her on her own. She defeated Rose, who vowed to return, and then they met the gym leader of Perseids City, a Corsola named Corlette (with a Wooper named Woot.) It ended with them entering Perseids City.

Part 2-3: Making a Big Splash

The group battled against Corlette and Woot in the Perseids City gym. In the end, Woot was defeated and Corlette soon after, winning them the badge. They learned the next gym was at Phoenicids City, but they returned to Lyrids Town to learn from Professor Persimmon that the slab revealed that more Pokemon would join them.

Part 2-4: Biting Off More Than You Can Swallow

When the team arrived in Phoenicids City, they saw a group of Gulpin running of a restaurant being chased by a Gabite. The Gabite, the head chef of a restaurant, explained the Gulpin had been stealing food recently. After locating their hideout, they met a Swalot named Swal who explained they were simply in need of food. However, a deal was made where the Gulpin would work for the restaurant. Swal, on the other hand, decided to go with the team as their 8th member. Unfortunately, they learned from a Misdreavus the gym was closed, but that there was another one east at Eridanids City, and so they headed east.

Part 2-5: Dude, Mud

At Eridanids, the rockiet place in Cindek, they found a department store. It was closed, however, so they went to the gym, where they met a Hippopotas named Hippy and a Gligar named Gildar. The two of them, who acted like hippies, then battled the team. In the end, Gildar was frozen and Hippy, not wanting to get hit with anymore attacks, said they proved themselves worthy. In the end, however, it was revealed they weren't hippies, and simply liked mud and dirt and stuff. It was then revealed the high-speed train's power source was stolen!

Part 2-6: Stupid Henchpokemon

When they got back to Phoenicids City, they learned the only way to where the power source is kept, Zeta City, is a small walkway next to the high-speed train. Unfortunately, on the way there a Golem, Hitmonchan and Marowak appeared, attempting to stop their progress. Iris' Confuse Ray caused the Golem to use Explosion, but Swal sacrificed himself by eating the Golem, causing only them two to be defeated. Eventually, the Hitmonchan was defeated, and the Marowak was frozen soon after. They then continued to Zeta City.

Part 2-7: Triple Team Trouble

When the team arrived in Zeta City, they saw Professor Persimmon and a Magnemite, who were there due to the power source being stolen. After learning the thief went east, the team headed towards Bootids Town, but along the way Rose returned; this time, however, she had help in the form of a Sableye named Deyeal and a Luxray named McNeil. During the fight, Tron was defeated when a tree fell over and hit him; soon after, Deyeal was defeated. McNeil was put to sleep, putting him out of battle until he was defeated at the end. Rose was using Solarbeam until Tron appeared, revealing to have not been defeated, and used Rain Dance; with Solarbeam's power down, Rose was defeated. They then escaped, letting the heroes continue on to Bootids Town.

Part 2-8: Almost Booted out of Bootids Town

When they arrived in Bootids Town, they recieved a cold welcome due to the general populace disliking technology and Pokemon of the types Electric, Steel and Psychic. Things took a turn for the better, though, when they met a Garchomp named Salvadore who helped them find out the thief had gone east. Thus, Salvadore decided to join them. As they headed east, they turned south, then west, then north into a cave underneath Bootids Town. There, they found Regirock, only it had a mind-control device on it!

Part 2-9: This Rocks… Well, Literally

The team entered a fierce battle with Regirock, but in the end, they only had to destroy the mind-control device to stop it. This ended in a mysterious character appearing, tossing the power source to them, then flying away with jets coming out of his feet.

Part 2-10: I Wish I Was in Dixie!

When the team returned to Zeta City, they gave the power source back and went to battle the gym of the city. There, they saw the very Magnemite who was with Professor Persimmon earlier. It introduced itself as Mitey, the leader of the gym, then introduced a Wormadam and Skarmory, named Madaste and Skire (respectively). During the battle, Tron often got hit with magnet-based attacks, making him sing folk songs. Eventually Skire was defeated, then Mitey. Everyone argued over who would deal the final blow on Madaste until suddenly Tron did out of nowhere. Thus, they won the badge for Zeta City and headed off to the next gym at Cetids Town.

Part 2-11: The Rhyming Part

In this part, in which very little important things happened, everyone rhymed. Until one rhyme didn't fit, causing the story to fall apart. The Cloud had to put it back together. In the end, they made it to South Cetids Town. There, Aron appeared, sayin the slab had revealed the one who stole the power source and was controlling Regirock was a Fighting and Steel type. With that, the part ended.

Part 2-12: Southern Cetids Psychic Scrap!

In Southern Cetids, the team met OmgI'mamime in the gym, after which Gifforoffig and Dingle came. During the battle, in which Dingle yelled a lot, the team used physics to defeat Dingle. OmgI'mamime was defeated, and soon after Gifforoffig went down as well. However, they learned that they had to defeat the North Cetids gym to get the badge, and Gifforoffig had lost the key to North Cetids. Thus, they were told to go to the gym in Cygnids City, and to return to North Cetids at a later time.

Part 2-13: Sick of This Pointless Plot Stuff

When the group arrived in Cygnids City, they found the gym to be a normal-type gym... but a Togetic said it was closed due to the leader being sick. Thus, the group went to the library and found how to cure the disease the leader had; they just so happened to have the cure with them, but as they headed back to the gym, they saw the mysterious character who had stolen the power source head north. They quickly went back to the gym to cure the leader, named Furby (the Togetic was named Toga), but then learned from the mayor they weren't allowed to go north to Pavonids Town, but they could get clearance due to Toga having a cousin up there, so for that time they would simply have a gym battle.

Part 2-14: Use Moony Night!

The third member of the gym was a Clefairy named Clara. When the battle began, it was revealed all Toga knew was Metronome. During the battle, Clara used Moonlight, causing the moon from Majora's Mask to appear. It eventually fell to the ground, and later Clara was defeated by being smashed into it. Toga was defeated by her own attack, and then Furby got sad being the only one left, so the team defeated her and won. Aron returned, saying the slab says the end will be smashing. Obviously, Topmonhit was running out of things.

Part 2-15: Let’s Sing a Song!

When the team arrived once again at Phoenicids City, Rose and McNeil reappeared. Deyeal was gone, but now they had two other members--Jiggly and I.M. Ugly. The two teams began to fight; at one point Jiggly and Relvia both began to use sing until Swal interrupted with his own horrible singing, which quickly woke everyone up. As the battle raged on, suddenly some other horrible singing was heard and the Misdreavus from Part 2-4 appeared, revealing to be the leader of the gym. He introduced himself as Mistervus, and said he had used Perish Song. Tron used Thunder Wave to paralyze the rival team, and then they went to go get some Revives and stuff to counter the Perish Song. In the gym, they met a spiritomb named CVIII (roman for 108), and a Rotom named Ecruos Rewop that could only say beep. They then prepared for the battle.

Trivia

  • Part 2-19: Frozen Fan Fic was originally mistaken as Part 2-18: Frozen Fan Fic. This caused Topmonhit to believe there were only 26 parts to the story for many months, until while looking at the parts realized there were two 2-18s listed, and thus found out there were 27 parts to the story.
  • Rose was never specified to have evolved in the story. Topmonhit just made an assumption at a random place.
  • Rose was originally not a main character of his, but when he stopped liking Tops he made her a main character.
  • Woot was eventually reused as a main character in Yoki Yoki, and Dingle was reused as the narrator for that RP as well.

Connections to Other Stories

  • Danny mentions Pichup and his parents in the first part.
  • This is the only story that has given Lucky any real backstory, as it created a location for Lucky to be from.
