Bio
Pichup was mutated by Team Rocket while he was still in his egg so that he could copy (similar to a Kirby in some aspects) nearly any Pokémon attack ever known, albeit weaker than normal since he's a Pichu. All he has to do is simply touch a type element in question in order to use a move of that type. He usually carries several items that relate to Pokémon types, such as a black belt for Fighting type moves or a piece of Netherrack (don't ask how he got it) for Fire type moves. Otherwise he's pretty much the same as Danny except he can be more down to earth. He's also more tech savvy than Danny and will actually use weapons against foes if needed if his special abilities aren't enough, or use them together. Due to him being a Pichu and having low defenses, if he is outmatched, he'll use Teleport to get away to a safer area or to get to an advantageous area.

The Shadows Cometh (Or Something Lousy Like That)
He was around with Danny when the gate to the Shadow Dimension was opened, leading to the Shadow King's invasion of Star World. He entered the Shadow Dimension with the others so they could create new Crystal Stars; strangely enough, when they were being formed, a golden one went to Pichup, but Danny did not receive one. With the Crystal Stars they were able to destroy the Shadow King and free the Shadow Dimension from his tyrannical rule.
The Adventure of Wishes
Pichup was one of the YBs who went to a party hosted by Princess Peach in honor of them. Unfortunately, the party was interrupted by Metal Top, who used a speech Peach gave to awaken the Beanstar. It then raised Peach's Castle into the sky with a giant version of itself and used the Beanstar to become invincible and blast the YB out of the castle. To defeat Metal Top, the YBs traveled to Star Haven to get the Star Rod, but found it had been shattered. This sent them on a journey to rebuild it from the shattered fragments, during which Pichup was turned into a dancing banana temporarily.
Later on when they had reached Metal Top's ship with the rebuilt Star Rod, Pichup encountered Metal Danny and Metal Pichup for the first time. They then reached Metal Top and used the Star Rod to engage in a wish battle, finally destroying it.
After the YB
Pichup went back with Danny to the Pokéworld, where he then decided to start to become more of a tech guy than being a direct fighter, where he would stay on the Danny Cruiser and basically be Danny's mission control. However, he can still hold his own in a fight, due to his abilities.
Discrepancies
Pichu
Originally, Pichup was just a normal Pichu following Danny until he named him Pichup, but he was then considered to be Danny's brother this entire time.

He can copy almost any Pokémon attack ever created at a lower power as long as he can touch an item or entity that relates to a Pokémon type, except for signature moves.

Pichup hasn't gotten a Smash Ball yet, but it would most likely enable him to do a super powered signature move of a Pokémon at random.
