Although Frankie became the official leader of the Pianta Syndicate, Don Pianta continued to keep things in order in the background. This ranged from more detestable activities, such as extortion and murder (like Atnaip), to things that seemed more noble like helping keep the YB funded at a time they were low on money, though it was still largely in their own interest.
