Yoshi is a character from the Mario series, and as one can infer from his name, is a yoshi. He is sometimes called "The" Yoshi, given he's the yoshi to appear in various Mario Spin-Offs. Yoshi is a gentle, peaceful guy, but was often threatened by evil people, and thus [[The Yoshi Bodyguards]] was formed. It then raised Peach's Castle into the sky with a giant version of itself and locked up Yoshi with other guests.
