"I have the utmost respect for the Yoshi Bodyguards and their years of service, Captain Thule, but my orders are explicit and come directly from the Counsel of Star World. I cannot withdraw." -General Alexander
The Blackest Days was an RP Chronicles story on the War of Chronis, the bloodiest battle in known history, and the climax of the Metal Wars. Nine Armies all collided on one planet, each bent on domination, each willing to give everything they had for their own cause. The story follows the local population, the Freaten, a race distantly related to the Waddle Dees of Popstar, who populated the Star World colony of Chronis, liberated from Darkcorp by the SWDF. Each chapter was the defeat of a different race, leading to the defeat of the cursed Metal Army's Iron Legion, serving a lost demon of the Titans of the Dark Ages.
Main Characters
- Sha'Oreas Leader of the Freaten, their Ethereal leader. The symbol of freedom and unity for their race.
- Ko'Tan The leader of the Freaten militia, a strong warrior who uses a prototype Darkcorp battlesuit to defeat foes. Has a strong sense of honor. Died in the final battle against the Titan's Champion
- Captain Vash A young commander of the SWD garrison in Or'Es'Kha, the Freaten capitol city. Idealistic, and hates war. Sacrificed his life to detonate the Hellfire Cannon in Victory Bay and stop the Yoshi Bodyguard advancement.
- Governor-General Alexander A war hero who liberated the Freaten from Darkcorp, and General of the SWD on Chronis. Was killed in the Battle of Victory Bay, which caused the SWD and Freaten to pull back.
- Commissar Gebit A strict and stern political officer of the 5th Infantry Division of the SWD. Not afraid to kill his own men if they get out of line. Died by a Yoshi Bodyguard sniper in the Battle of Victory Bay.
- Commissar Banir An older political officer of the 2th Armored Division. Lost an eye to a battle with the Orks. Replaced Alexander as commander of the SWDF on Chronis after his death.
- General Birdross A visiting General from Star World who was caught up in the fighting. Aided in the battle until the final encounter, then returned to Star World.
- Captain Kooplass Commander of the Tegan regiment on Chronis. Most of her men were killed in the fighting, but she lead what few she had with valor. Disdained the fighting, but stayed until the end.
- Zornt A strange creature who crashed into Or'Es'Kha during the evacuation. Though he had no experience in warfare, he helped throughout the war until the final battle, where he wielded a Demonhammer against the Titan's Champion.
- Samus Aran A hero bounty hunter from the Galactic Federation. She aided the Freaten in destroying the Vhozon mothership after it shot her down, and helped clear out the Heartless from the Green Coast, but had to leave on a mission halfway through.
Armies
- SWDF Chronis Liberators and Freaten Militia: (Lead by Ethereal Sha'Oreas and Governor-General Lucas Alexander) The local force on Chronis that was caught off guard when the armies attacked. When Or'Es'Kha fell, the remaining forced fled to Victory Bay. One by one, they destroyed the opposing factions, until eventually they were the last one standing. Were reluctant to fight the Yoshi Bodyguards, until they attacked Victory Bay with no mercy, and killed Governor-General Alexander.
- Yoshi Bodyguard 66th Storm Angels Clone Division: (Lead by Captain Thule) The Yoshi Bodyguard force that attacked Chronis under Order Extermanitis. They ordered the Chronis Liberators to fall back, but, under direct orders from the Counsel of Star World, the Liberators could not fall back. The two fought, destroying Victory Bay. Eventually, Thule was killed in his base in the Skullchain Mountains, forcing the Storm Angels to fall back from the planet.

Gelvin had his own agenda, however, and attempted to revive the Champion of the Titans by using Ultra Stuffwell's body as a host. His Legion was devastated to the man in the end.

Dark Danny crashed the Seed into Or'Es'Kha, and enslaved most population as Phazon Zombies. Eventually, the seek was destroyed by a Necron Gauss weapon stolen by the SWD, and Dark Danny fled.
