Though the Yoshi Bodyguards began 6 or more years ago, I remember to this day how much care I took for this community of friends.

I write this to you because I stumbled upon the Metroid Wiki on Google, and was flooded with fond memories.

If it weren't for YOSHI. the founder of the Yoshi Bodyguards, I would never have played one of my favorite video game franchises: Metroid.

But the epic adventures I wrote for 5 years while I tended to the magnificent Yoshi Bodyguard roleplay will always be in my heart.

Many years ago, when Nsider forums closed down the Role Play section... I vowed to keep the epic story alive.

In the eyes of some... I failed that task.

And I'm sorry to say that I cannot re-tell the events that took place when I, MackDaddyYoshi, wasn't an active member of the role play.

But some of us stuck together like glue... YOSHI. entrusted the Yoshi Bodyguards with Topmonhit, Chibikirbyness, and I. We formed a hierarchy of dedicated and indebted role players.

And the Game & Watch forums were born. We stayed there for many years, and role played some of the most epic Yoshi Bodyguards stories to ever have been told.

Though the Dark Ages and other vital roleplays on Nsider had been extinguished and lost forever...

We held together and made history.

I, MackDaddyYoshi, to this day swear to keep the Yoshi Bodyguards roleplay alive. Though most of her members have long since abandoned her; I remain to carry on the torch of heroism that will never fade.

An idea I came up with during the days of Game & Watch forums rings a bell.

I was determined to make a Yoshi Bodyguards Movie that chronicles all the epic stories in the saga of unconquerable warriors.

Oh hey guys if you've been under a rock the past week or so the wiki has been having problems! I think it's over because I read at one of the error screens that editthis.info was upgrading to a new version of mediawiki or something! Anyway the point is we can upload images now so woo! hoo! woo! hoo! hoo! hoo! woo! hoo! I guess this means we can upload actual images now and use those instead of linking to elsewhere. Go figure out if anything else changed.

About YB Timeline

Q: Who set all this up?
A: Wary. Although SZM threw a lot of new articles in, Top has contributed the most valid information so far. It's me, Wary, answering your questions here, but if someone asks a good question and you get an answer feel free to edit this page.

Q: Why is it called YB Timeline?
A: The original purpose was to organize the canon history of the universe built around the YBs. Of course, after getting here, we realized it was going to become a lot more. However, the wiki server site thing won't let the name be changed... at least I don't think it will.

Q: Where can I start?
A: Look around at the Content Index and find the articles that are just not very good. Try to expand with relevant information. I mean, you know, we can still make fun of each other in a lot of things. After all, if we were "all business" like Wikipedia, we'd just be boring. (And if we were all insanity like Uncyclipedia, we'd just be... uh... not very organized.)

Q: How do I make an article?
A: In the Address bar or search, find the page the article would be on if it existed. Then click the edit button and build your article. Make sure there isn't already a very similar article of course. Once you're done, try to make sure it becomes part of the network of linked articles--unless you don't want it to be found or something. Oh and all the relevant articles need a beginning quote cause we said so. That quote can always be changed if something better comes up.

Q: What format should I stick to for any and all character articles (in SZM's opinion)?
A: This one!!!!! Character Page Format

Q: Okay where's the actual main stuff?
A: Pretty much look through the Content Index which also needs editing sometimes. Try to put most relevant article in there even though it seems like it gets edited less than this page does (?!?)

I. What's with the categories that end in "saga"?
R. These categories include stories that are included in a "saga" of sorts, which is pretty much just an ongoing plot that spans multiple stories. To have an official saga category, a saga needs at least three stories in it.
