Slow Ride was originally released in 1975 by Foghat. This was Foghat's top single, peaking at number 20 on the music charts. Since then it was put into movies and video games such as, Grand Theft Auto, Barnyard, My Name Is Earl, Seinfeld, Dazed and Confused, Family Guy, and Dexter.
When Slow Ride is released in Guitar Hero III, it was unveiled to a whole new audience. Now it is everyone's favorite song.
