When people vandalise they get a first warning in most cases, unless there is vandalism 3 times in 2 min, then they may be blocked with no warning. The longest this block can last is 3 hours but should usualy be 1 hour. Usualy the process will be a warning, 12 hour block, 24 hours, 1 month, 6 months, year, and then infinite.

When it comes to people adding there point of view to articles they get 2 warnings, then they should be blocked for 24 hours. After there first block they should be blocked for 3 days, after this the sysop may block him for up to one month. After the second block he may be blocked for up to 6 months. If they decide to add POV after this they may get a infinite block.
