Your IP will not be checked unless you are a vandal who people thinks has a sock. Also your IP will be checked if they think you are a abusive sock of someone. If any of your socks are used for good edits then that sock will not be blocked. It is against policy to put personal info on your user page. Also you have to have a account to edit.
