However, I have got the impression that laptops are still not quite powerful adequately to be a good choice if you frequently do jobs that require lots of power, including video editing. But for world-wide-web surfing, microsoft word processing, and quite a few other common computer work they are perfectly, provided you may not mind small screen size.
