Problem
- The regular Pandora's Battery method requires a working PSP that is able to run Homebrew.
Solution
- Create a method for unbricking / downgrading any PSP running the latest firmware (like you'd buy used from anywhere) so that it will run both the latest games AND homebrew apps. This method I will call "Neo Pandoras Battery"
Disclaimers
- This is NOT A NEW IDEA. It's just my writing down several old ideas in a row for future reference.
- If you screw up your PSP from following my noobish untested instructions, its not my fault. I'll post if/when I try this out and tell what the results were.
Needed items
- PSP to be worked on
- Memory Pro Duo stick
- Battery
- PSP card reader
Steps
- Hardmod a battery
- Copy the pandora's battery hack files to the memory card using the card reader (No working PSP required this way)
- Ressurrect the PSP (To 1.50 ??)
- Install DCv5 (or DCv4 then 5)
- Upgrade to firmware 3.90
