Goals

  • Create a method for unbricking / downgrading any PSP running the latest firmware (like you'd buy used from anywhere) so that it will run both the latest games AND homebrew apps.

Needed items

  • PSP to be worked on
  • Memory Pro Duo stick
  • Battery
  • PSP card reader

Steps

  • Hardmod a battery
  • Copy the pandora's battery hack files to the memory card using the card reader (No working PSP required this way)
  • Ressurrect the PSP (To 1.50 ??)
  • Install DCv5 (or DCv4 then 5)
  • Upgrade to firmware 3.90
