- The regular Pandora's Battery method requires a working PSP that is able to run Homebrew.

- Create a method for unbricking / downgrading any PSP running or not running any firmware (like you'd buy used from anywhere) so that it will run both the latest games AND homebrew apps, without needing the help of anyone else's PSP even if your PSP is bricked.

- PSP to be worked on
- Memory Pro Duo stick (must be at least 1GB with MagicGate enabled - you don't have to use MagicGate DRM - you just need a memory stick that has it. As far as I know, only official Sony memory sticks have MagicGate)
- USB Sony card reader
- Service Mode Battery (Like the Datel Tool Battery from http://us.codejunkies.com/ )

- Get ahold of a file called "msipl.bin" and run the installer in pandora.zip using it - this is the hard part that normally requires a working PSP - (This site claims to have it - haven't tested yet - it links to this MegaUpload page) (hak5 post links to mediafire)
- Copy the DCv4 or DCv5 files (from dark-alex.org) to the memory card using the card reader.
- Copy whatever Official Sony Firmware files are needed for the DC version you're using and the firmware you're wanting to install. (check the readme that comes with it)
- Put in your memory card, put in your service mode battery. If everything works right, you should see little words on the screen. Ressurrect the PSP (Probably to 3.xx m33)
