The Sniper Rifle is a long-range weapon featured in all three games. As the name suggests, the Sniper Rifle is mostly used for sniping enemies from afar. The rifle is mostly used in stealth missions, such as 1990 Siberia.
It has a very high scope, so you can aim at enemies hundreds of meters away. However, it is almost impossible to hit a quickly-moving target with this weapon. Also, like most snipers, the sniper rifle is a horrible weapon when it comes to close combat.
