TimeSplitters: Gold is an unofficial fan-made game of the TimeSplitters series, released March 22nd 2005 for Windows PC. It is developed by TeamSplitters and is a top-down shooter as opposed to be an FPS and is takes characters and maps from all three TimeSplitters Games.
The game runs from a .exe file; to keep the game file as small as possible the developers use MIDI renditions of the actual .mp3 files.
The game features 18 different characters, all unlocked by default, as well as 4 maps which are also unlocked by default. Unfortuanately, the newest version has only one gun as opposed to V.3 which has two.
