Please let me know soon if you want to move, since I've been keeping the two wikis in sync so edits aren't lost, but I can't keep doing that forever! :)

post          = Noticed the weapons thing, although we'd have to spend time checking where each 5/6 weapons spawn and match them up with the places the weapons spawn on the map. Not much a point anyway, the strategy is what people follow and that should mention all weapons needed anyway.
+
post          = Would it be possible to also link to the same page on wikia using ''<nowiki>{{PAGENAME}}</nowiki>'' in the url? It may not work due to brackets, but do they automatically change anyway?
-
An allies section would help for Arcade League, that's the only think I would consider changing. Or we could just chane "enemies" to "bots" on the template.
+
Edit: It does, [<nowiki>http://timesplitters.wikia.com/wiki/Time To Split (TS2)</nowiki>] will redirect.

I was looking through the Arcade League pages and I realized I didn't add a category for [[weapons]] in the Infobox for either Arcade League or Challenge. Anyway, I could go back and edit the Infoboxes to include this category, but that would mean we'd have to go back and edit all existing Infoboxes to include the new category. I could also add a spot for Allies and anything else I forgot if I were to do that. Anyway, what do you all think?

post          = Reviews are entirely opinion, and they really have no place on a Wiki. I'm not saying your review's bad at all, but it'd be more suited to your personal web site than to the Wiki. It'd be akin to adding a review of a famous book in Encyclopedia Brittanica - it doesn't really add anything, because personal opinions are all debatable. I realize this Wiki doesn't adhere too much to Wikipedia's NPOV (Neutral Point of View) policy, and that's fine (personally, it's actually better the way it is lol), but reviews are just too much opinion and not enough unbiased fact to merit having here. Sorry.
+
post          = Hi. I'm a little confused--if the wiki is moved from EditThis there's going to be a link or it will redirect to the new site, right? I really hope to do more editing and I would be extremely disappointed if I couldn't just because I had trouble navigating the new Wiki.

post          = I'm going to be rather harsh and say I don't think it's a good idea. The reason behind this new responce is because I just sat and thought what a review is: an opinion of how good a game is. And the problem is the keyword: opinion. It's okay to state what the community thinks of something (ie. "Many fans prefer TS2's challenge mode over TSFP's") but not the writer's personal opinion, because a personal opinion is not as factual as the statistic "Many fans prefer".

Please do not take this critism the wrong way. It's just that if you take away the opinion parts of the review, you're left with an article that basically is the same as [[TimeSplitters_(Game)|this page]], and then what's the point in having reviews in the first place?

*Never compare a game to its sequels. Why? Most reviews are reviewed soon after the game. When TS4 is released and you write one, you wont say "it didn't match up to the standard of TS5", it doesn't exist.

*The Story was great, didn't match up to TS2 or FP however, but than I couldn't say that.

*Music and Sound, full marks for me. TimeSplitters games have the best soundtracks, only a few Final Fantasy games come close, and most of the time it's only a few tracks. Orchestrated music doesn't belong in TimeSplitters, a Frantic FPS.

+
post          = You realize we could simply edit the redirecting banner into the frames so they appear on every page, right? We wouldn't have to edit every page. I agree with Xylaquin. There's no reason to delete this wiki - as for the Google rankings, they will eventually take care of themselves when this wiki becomes inactive and the new one picks up in activity and rankings. This wiki won't remain here forever either - Editthis will likely delete it if all the pages are locked.
 +

That leads us to another question: If this wiki becomes locked and inactive, how long will we have before Editthis deletes it? It should stay up at least 6 months if not a year after the move to redirect.

+
post          = Deleting this wiki and re creating it and locking it is the best thing to do. It will remove all the information from here and send people to wikia where it probably has a more updated article. Once we move to wikia we'll edit there, right? So these articles will be out of date and we have no need in them.

Deleting this wiki and re creating it means our members trying to get back to the wiki will, then they'll see we've moved and they'll move to wikia. However, I'm not sure how well the Wiki would be able to display an HTML map. One option is to create your map in Struan's MapMaker, take a screenshot of it and post the pic up onto the Wiki along with map info. +
post          = When you log in the ads disappear, ILHI. Plus even if it is a family computer, 1024x768 is better. I mean, assuming you have an LCD monitor, doesn't having a lower res than the native res of the monitor make it look a bit icky?
-
Can you admins do something about this?
+
If the size of 1024x768 is such a problem, you can do a few things to make it better whilst still keeping to 1024x768. For example, in your browser, hold down Ctrl and move you mouse-wheel to scale the text. You could also use the Display Properties to make the icons bigger in 1024x768 if that's the problem (or even use disability settings to customize the sizes).
 +

 +
Alternatively, you might prefer to keep 800x600, and use the Ctrl+Mouse-wheel trick to reduce the size of the text in your browser so that things arn't squashed up.

It was I who designed the system we currently use on the wiki today; the main page, the infoboxes and what goes on a page. You can see [http://editthis.info/timesplitterswiki/Main_Page?title=Main_Page&oldid=1378 here] what this wiki was before I arrived. I updated the main sections, the side bar, and assigned a colleague on another forum to design the logo (which I intend to keep).
-
<pre>|-
+
As such, I have sort of self-proclaimed myself as head-admin, I recruited all the current admins today and act in Elite Yoshi's place in his absence (he does infact seem to periodically visit). Once I had setup the workings of the wiki, I wrote all the TS1 character pages and uploaded the images (on another site).

However I would like to address myself, as after I had completed that my contributions to the wiki decreased. I know consider my job on this wiki as a technician of sorts, I ban spammers, fix errors and create new features. Admins Drifting and ILHI are more prosperous on this wiki than I am now, (I visit everyday actually),  but ILHI and Drifting actually make edits (even if these edits do involve slapping NeedInfo banners on every page :P) I am thus currently tuning up the admin page and reviewing the current admins who are inactive.

Another thing, I think posting you're total playtime in the TS games is something we should start doing. I would like to know how long you admins have played the TS games. :) Go to my page to see what I mean.
+
Now to address the issue of Wikia, I have some questions:
 +
# Is it possible to make monobook the default? If we move I'd like it to look as much like the current design as possible.
 +
# Is it possible to move the adverts on the right of page ([http://timesplitters.wikia.com/?useskin=monobook here]) to the bottom of the page?
 +
# The custom error messages, will they still be possible?
 +
I'm concerned with the adverts because I want to keep this wiki's professionalism (heck, we're so good there's a wiki that steals all our information and uses it on it's own)

Don't need widgets, editthis has one method of stopping spam bots, so it's only those sad prats that register and vandalize, although that's part of the fun of being an admin ^_^.
 +

 +
Edit Count is intersting, but not necessary and randomimage would never be used. There's a gallery of new files [http://www.editthis.info/timesplitterswiki/Special:Newimages here].
 +

 +
Meh, page creation is easy enough here, if it's a new user who doesn't know wiki formatting, then they're probably not adding much to the page anyway, which will either be quickly rectified or added to one of our to do lists. [[Special:Whatlinkshere/Improvement_Badge|[1]]] [[Special:Whatlinkshere/Template:NeedInfo|[2]]]. Which either us, or visitors will edit, only if they can add the information or add the infobox.
 +

 +
So, that makes three things, I think.
 +

 +
# We can upload all our files to the wiki.
 +
# We can embed youtube videos.
 +
# We can take sections out of the infobox, right? Just miss out part of the code and it won't show up on the infobox. This will help us loads, we could edit them with ''TS2 Agility'' and ''TSFP agility'', and if they don't feature on the games, then we won't feature them in the infobox.
 +

Though, can we still include the navigation (/contents/other/search/toolbox) like it is shown exactly like on this.

post          = Hmm, maybe. But how are we going to be able to tell who's a bot and who's not based solely on an e-mail address. Granted, this system would allow us to block the most obvious offenders, but we might block out some legit users in the process. It's a bit of a conundrum, really. I really don't think we have enough of a problem with spambots yet to warrant this system. At the moment, we seem to be able to reverse their vandalism fairly quickly.

post          = Well [[User:ILHI|ILHI]] and I have just banned two spambots. These things are trouble as there's no option to enable bot-stoppers in registration (like "type these characters"). Registration is disabled at the moment. Perhaps we should implement a system where new registrants email an email address and are then registered by an Admin; this wouldn't be a lot of work since not many people join frequently.

Content Ok, I think it's time. I have locked the wiki's registrations and edits, if EY has any concerns he can contact us by our email.
Post Info Dj master2 22:59, 20 February 2008 (EST)
Content I may not like the idea but it seems i have no choice but to vote that we should move the wiki.
Post Info Drifting 17:18, 20 February 2008 (EST)
Content Even though EY started this wiki, we've all contributed to it, and it's become all of ours. He's been given ample notice and hasn't responded. I think we have enough of a claim on this wiki to move it without his input. No one can say we didn't try.

Here's one more vote for moving.

Post Info ILHI 13:51, 20 February 2008 (EST)
Content EY isn't as active on the internet as he was. Nothing's wrong. However, I say move now.
Post Info Dj master2 10:40, 20 February 2008 (EST)
Content It looks like we have no choice. No-one takes that long to reply back. He's been gone now for months or possibly a year so somethings not right...
Post Info Drifting 18:27, 19 February 2008 (EST)
Content Elite Yoshi's had almost 2 weeks to respond and hasn't yet. Should we give him more time or should we vote on a move now?
Post Info Angela 18:59, 18 February 2008 (EST)
Content You can add {{moved}} to pages to have them automatically link to the right place on the new wiki. I will help to add this to the most visited pages once you've decided about closing this wiki. You can also add a Sitenotice with a message that the wiki has moved. Please let me know soon if you want to move, since I've been keeping the two wikis in sync so edits aren't lost, but I can't keep doing that forever! :)
Post Info ILHI 13:07, 18 February 2008 (EST)
Content Would it be possible to also link to the same page on wikia using {{PAGENAME}} in the url? It may not work due to brackets, but do they automatically change anyway?

Edit: It does, [http://timesplitters.wikia.com/wiki/Time To Split (TS2)] will redirect.

Post Info Xylaquin 03:46, 18 February 2008 (EST)
Content If someone comes here, they won't be able to edit, even if they are registered. People cannot register here either, the wiki is completely locked basically, and can only be read. At the top of every single page on this wiki, there will be a banner than tells people we've moved, it will have a link to the main page of the new site.
Post Info Vermilion Maiden 17 February 2008
Content Thanks, Angela. I'm sorry, I'm a moron. I still don't understand. If the Wiki moves, will it redirect there from here if someone comes here to EditThis?

Edit: Thanks for clearing that up for me, Xylaquin.

Post Info Drifting 11:04, 16 February 2008 (EST)
Content I'm sorry that happened, Slagar. Luckily, there have been no edits made with your account since your last post in TS Chat (check your contributions). I'd recommend upgrading to a password with random numbers and letters to prevent this from happening again.
Post Info Slagar February 2008 (EST)
Content I was hacked! If I did any editing since my last comment in chat, it was not me. All I know is that someone changed my password. I think it's all sorted out now, just wanted to say this so I didn't get accused of something I didn't do.
Post Info Furohman 22:45, 15 February 2008 (EST)
Content Hello various people. I've done my 'little' bit of editing for THIS friday night. I need something better to do with my time at weekends, don't I? Just thought I might as well say something, y'know... That is all.
Post Info Angela 12:45, 15 February 2008 (EST)
Content The ads depend on the skin you're using. I set the wiki to monobook to look like this one, but if you try either the newer quartz skin or the old blue skin, you won't see ads when logged in. We're going to be releasing a new skin next week called monaco which I'm hoping with be an improvement on any of these 3!
Post Info Drifting 11:20, 15 February 2008 (EST)
Content Didn't you say that members wouldn't see the ads? I've registered but they're still there.
Post Info Angela 03:14, 15 February 2008 (EST)
Content Hi all. The easiest thing to do is just prevent editing and add a sitenotice linking to the new wiki. It'll automatically appear at the top of every page.

The new wiki is all ready to go if you want to try this now.

Vermilion Maiden - the new wiki can be set to look just like this one, so you shouldn't have any trouble navigating it.

Drifting - don't forget to make an account so you can be made an admin on the new wiki!

Post Info Vermilion Maiden 14 February 2008
Content Hi. I'm a little confused--if the wiki is moved from EditThis there's going to be a link or it will redirect to the new site, right? I really hope to do more editing and I would be extremely disappointed if I couldn't just because I had trouble navigating the new Wiki.

Post Info ILHI 15:44, 14 February 2008 (EST)
Content I knnnooooow. Dj said leave it open as a wiki. A wiki is something edited by the community, if editing is locked it becomes more like an information site for, well, information.

@Dj: Still waiting on that proof.

Post Info Xylaquin 15:05, 14 February 2008 (EST)
Content @ ILHI

People won't edit because admins can disable editting and registrations.

Post Info Dj master2 18:58, 14 February 2008 (EST)
Content Must've been scared of me. Only kidding. Man its been great been being here but...I'VE FORGOT TO PLAY TS! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Oh by the way i live right round the corner of me mates house and it defiantly says 30.0 secs.
Post Info ILHI 14:45, 14 February 2008 (EST)
Content People will edit it, and therefore they won't be editing the wikia.

Also EY was no leader. He started the wiki, yes, but since you've been here he's made one appearance and made one page which was later deleted.

Post Info Dj master2 18:33, 14 February 2008 (EST)
Content I miss EY! He was kindof our leader in a way. I think we should just leave the wiki as it is. Just leave it as wiki.
Post Info ILHI 05:20, 14 February 2008 (EST)
Content Oh yeah. I was thinking using the infoboxes but the logos on every page, and we could change some of the links in the sidebar riderecting to wikia. (???)

As for closing wikis, to EditThis do that? According to editthis we are the third highest ranked wiki. Wikis can be left inactive for ages and nothing happens, as can be seen from another wiki on here I know of.

Post Info Drifting 18:07, 13 February 2008 (EST)
Content You realize we could simply edit the redirecting banner into the frames so they appear on every page, right? We wouldn't have to edit every page. I agree with Xylaquin. There's no reason to delete this wiki - as for the Google rankings, they will eventually take care of themselves when this wiki becomes inactive and the new one picks up in activity and rankings. This wiki won't remain here forever either - Editthis will likely delete it if all the pages are locked.

That leads us to another question: If this wiki becomes locked and inactive, how long will we have before Editthis deletes it? It should stay up at least 6 months if not a year after the move to redirect.

Post Info ILHI 07:14, 13 February 2008 (EST)
Content Deleting this wiki and re creating it and locking it is the best thing to do.

Google will still lead to the articles here, unless we edit all the pages with links to wikia - because of the links supplied elsewhere, I say when we move this wiki is useless.

Post Info Xylaquin 06:57, 13 February 2008 (EST)
Content DO NOT delete this wiki. When we move I'll just lock registrations and edits and place a banner upon the main page redirecting people.
Post Info ILHI 06:42, 13 February 2008 (EST)
Content Move wiki, delete this wiki, create this wiki again and have on the main page in big writing "Hey old users, we have moved to Wikia." He'll find out if he ever wants to come back here again. I assume he'll have no objection, we lose out on nothing, we gain loads more things. EY could be forever seeming he comes on here four times a year. Last time he came here I think the only article he made was deleted. :D
Post Info Drifting 16:59, 12 February 2008 (EST)
Content Give him a bit more time. There's a chance he doesn't get on the computer often.
Post Info Angela 20:50, 11 February 2008 (EST)
Content You're welcome to rename the main page back to "Main Page". The reason I changed it is that it helps the wiki show up higher in the search engine results when people are looking for TimeSplitters information. Sadly, the logo would need to go whether you stayed here or not since it can't legally be used in this way without Wikimedia's permission. Shall we assume that EY's non-response to my email means he has no objection? Angela 20:50, 11 February 2008 (EST)
Post Info Drifting 17:44, 11 February 2008 (EST)
Content Changing the logo shouldn't be a big deal. I'd do it myself if I thought I could do a halfway-decent job at it.

So, besides EY's input, are we all in agreement that we should move to Wikia?

Post Info ILHI 16:19, 11 February 2008 (EST)
Content I can do a new logo, easy. If I can get a hold of the tablet. Also TS4, we can guess sometime 2009, or after.

As for moving, hopefully EY gets here quickly, I can't stand this whoe "two minutes working, twenty-eight minutes not working". Unfortunately I still have three other wikis hosted here.

Post Info Dj master2 19:49, 11 February 2008 (EST)
Content I completly agree with the logo part. Man, it's so annoying, hopefully we'll get a smaller logo. Anyone got any requests like fill in someones stats or something? As Cortez would say "It's time to split! I hope TS4 comes out this july! (starts praying to god)
Post Info ILHI 10:10, 11 February 2008 (EST)
Content Hey guyz, I think I sorted out the page thing so I have nothing against moving the site. Except the Main Page is called "TimeSplitters Wiki." I prefer Main Page, we can change that but is there a rule?

Taking sections out of the infobox will be a great alternative to N/A. So I'm all for it. Only downside is the logo.

Post Info ILHI 15:26, 9 February 2008 (EST)
Content Family Computer = Most used computer. Not just internet.
Post Info Drifting 14:45, 9 February 2008 (EST)
Content If you don't use many programs besides the Internet, you could adjust your res to 1024x768 and then adjust the text size of your browser.
Post Info ILHI 14:07, 9 February 2008 (EST)
Content I was logged in.

And I know all the things I can do - plus it ain't LCD. It's default is 800x600. I just changed it to 1024x768 and the writing is really small.

Post Info Xylaquin 10:18, 9 February 2008 (EST)
Content When you log in the ads disappear, ILHI. Plus even if it is a family computer, 1024x768 is better. I mean, assuming you have an LCD monitor, doesn't having a lower res than the native res of the monitor make it look a bit icky?

If the size of 1024x768 is such a problem, you can do a few things to make it better whilst still keeping to 1024x768. For example, in your browser, hold down Ctrl and move you mouse-wheel to scale the text. You could also use the Display Properties to make the icons bigger in 1024x768 if that's the problem (or even use disability settings to customize the sizes).

Alternatively, you might prefer to keep 800x600, and use the Ctrl+Mouse-wheel trick to reduce the size of the text in your browser so that things arn't squashed up.

Everything seems to be fine for the move to Wikia IMO, except I really like the logo here :-/

Post Info ILHI 09:35, 9 February 2008 (EST)
Content One more reason to: Doesn't slowdown as much as EditThis.info.

One more reason against: Mod ILHI uses 600x800 most of the time recently. [1]

No I will not change my screen size. This is a family computer used by several people. Everything becomes smaller, this being annoying. [2]

Unless you can remove side adverts to adverts at the bottom of the page, I am against.

Post Info Angela 08:02, 9 February 2008 (EST)
Content I've set the new wiki to the original monobook skin (the same as this wiki uses). You can either use that, or select one of the other skins in your preferences (cologneblue has no ads, quartz has some extra features). I've sent an email to Elite Yoshi but not heard back from him yet.
Post Info Drifting 17:03, 8 February 2008 (EST)
Content The slowdown Editthis seemed to be having has stopped finally.

As long as we can keep our layout and transfer all of our data, I'm fine with moving to Wikia. There doesn't seem to be a strong reason not to, other than Elite Yoshi.

Post Info Angela 04:51, 6 February 2008 (EST)
Content Firstly, to summarise - by moving, you would have fewer ads, faster speed, more features, and free promotion.

Secondly, to answer your questions -

ILHI - you can customize the navigation to keep it as /contents/other/search/toolbox.

Xylaquin -

  1. You can set monobook as default. Any user can also make their own decision in their preferences about which skin to use.
  2. If you log in, you won't see ads at all!
  3. Error messages can be customized. In fact, any part of the skin and interface can be edited.
Post Info Slagar 20:55, 3 February 2008 (EST)
Content I think we should wait until we get Elite Yoshi's input first. Although I do think that Xylaquin is near equal authority over issues concerning the wiki.
Post Info Xylaquin 14:59, 3 February 2008 (EST)
Content Elite Yoshi is the founder, and one cannot overlook his absence. It was I who designed the system we currently use on the wiki today; the main page, the infoboxes and what goes on a page. You can see here what this wiki was before I arrived. I updated the main sections, the side bar, and assigned a colleague on another forum to design the logo (which I intend to keep).

Now to address the issue of Wikia, I have some questions:

  1. Is it possible to make monobook the default? If we move I'd like it to look as much like the current design as possible.
  2. Is it possible to move the adverts on the right of page (here) to the bottom of the page?
  3. The custom error messages, will they still be possible?

I'm concerned with the adverts because I want to keep this wiki's professionalism (heck, we're so good there's a wiki that steals all our information and uses it on it's own)

Post Info Drifting 11:47, 3 February 2008 (EST)
Content Angela: Elite Yoshi drops in every once in awhile. I would feel guilty moving his wiki without his input just because he doesn't contribute much. It's his wiki after all.

ILHI: I guess it's just a matter of personal opinion. If we were to have embedded videos it wouldn't be a big deal. I'm just saying that my personal preference would be to link to them.

Post Info ILHI 11:45, 3 February 2008 (EST)
Content Well, I don't care much about EY ever coming back. He just started it, he doesn't do much anymore and it is happily maintained by the three active admins.

Don't need widgets, editthis has one method of stopping spam bots, so it's only those sad prats that register and vandalize, although that's part of the fun of being an admin ^_^.

Edit Count is intersting, but not necessary and randomimage would never be used. There's a gallery of new files here.

Meh, page creation is easy enough here, if it's a new user who doesn't know wiki formatting, then they're probably not adding much to the page anyway, which will either be quickly rectified or added to one of our to do lists. [1] [2]. Which either us, or visitors will edit, only if they can add the information or add the infobox.

So, that makes three things, I think.

  1. We can upload all our files to the wiki.
  2. We can embed youtube videos.
  3. We can take sections out of the infobox, right? Just miss out part of the code and it won't show up on the infobox. This will help us loads, we could edit them with TS2 Agility and TSFP agility, and if they don't feature on the games, then we won't feature them in the infobox.

Though, can we still include the navigation (/contents/other/search/toolbox) like it is shown exactly like on this.

Post Info Angela 08:50, 3 February 2008 (EST)
Content Hi again. It's definitely not only about videos, but also about the other features, and also just about having your own wiki in case the founder of this one never comes back.
Post Info ILHI 15:27, 2 February 2008 (EST)
Content Well, here's a wiki that does use embedded youtube videos. I'll let you decide from that.
Post Info Drifting 15:21, 2 February 2008 (EST)
Content Hosting images externally isn't that big of a hassle. Having the space to upload pics would just be more convenient, if not necessary. As for movies, we can just link to those. Having movies embedded into a Wiki page wouldn't look very good anyway.

I suggest we take a poll.

Post Info ILHI 11:07, 2 February 2008 (EST)
Content I don't care much that the images are from external sites, though, having the ability to add youtube videos gives the opportunity to put WR vids in the Arcade League and Challenge articles.

(If i have time) you can do me a request like...you know? Well guys what do you think? I'll try to keep editing the wiki...i promise
Post Info Drifting 15:34, 1 February 2008 (EST)
Content The unlimited space is really the only advantage I can see for moving from Editthis. It would be nice to be able to upload pictures instead of hosting them at Imageshack.
Post Info Angela 01:29, 1 February 2008 (EST)
Content I've set up a demo so you can have a look and see what it's like at Wikia. I've written about some of the advantages and listed the top 10 features. Let me know what you think.
Post Info Angela 21:36, 31 January 2008 (EST)
Content Hi. Xylaquin - I can move the content for you. It's no problem, and of course free. ILHI - there are ads for unregistered users, as with this wiki, but if you use the alternate skins, registered users rarely get ads. I can help you change your personal stylesheet if you want to remove the navigation block. If you want a simpler skin, you might prefer cologne blue. If you want no sidebar at all, then try nostalgia.
Post Info ILHI 12:29, 31 January 2008 (EST)
Content Unless there isn't a big navigation block on the side or advertisements, I can't say I'd prefer it. If it appeared the same as on here.
Post Info Xylaquin 03:47, 31 January 2008 (EST)
Content I personally looked into using Wikia a few months ago, but I couldn't see a way of transferring all the work we've done here onto a new account there. Is there a way to do this free of charge?
Post Info Angela 00:19, 31 January 2008 (EST)
Content Hello everyone! I'm really impressed with how large this wiki is getting. I wanted to let you know that if you would prefer to be a Wikia site, I am happy to help you move this wiki to timesplitters.wikia.com. If you'd like to explore Wikia's other gaming sites, please see the hub at Wikia:Gaming. Wikia uses the same MediaWiki software you have here, but a newer version, with lots of extra features such as widgets if you want them, and easier image uploading. We also have some new designs that you can apply to your wiki - compare the traditional wikipedia skin with the wikia gaming skin. So, what do you think? Would you like me to set up the wiki there so you can try it out?
