The Silver Age of comics was a period that lasted from the early 50's to the mid 70's.

Very notorious for its use of crazy plots, weird science, and monkeys. Heroes that were created in the Silver Age include the second Flash, Hal Jordan and most of Stan Lee's characters from Marvel Comics.
