Made Animal Man a must-read book. Anyone who can write Wile E. Coyote as a Christ figure and make it work is simply amazing.
Turned the Doom Patrol from a second-rate X-men team into an exploration of dadaism and surrealism.
Changed the Justice League from a team of third-rate heroes into a gathering of DC's powerhouses.
