HotAndCold joined the Superdickery forums July 12th, 2006, thanks to Eat Poop You Cat. On August 29th, she posted pictures of herself in the Faces of Superdickery thread, causing several users to express shock in discovering that she was, in fact, a girl, apparently caused by the fact that her avatar was at the time occupied by Booster Gold. She promptly (read as: a week or so later) changed it to an impage of a topless Grunt from part of a VG Cats comic, but soon thereafter changed it to something else. Her avatar featured Evil!Skeets for some time, because, really, DC, WTF?

HotAndCold has a peculiar habit of reading all of the posts in a thread before she will even consider posting in it, the sole exceptions so far being the Hate thread, the Likeyness thread, and the Where Did You Get Your Name/Avatar/Sig thread. Needless to say, HotAndCold does not have much of a social life outside the Internet. She does not consider this a great loss.

HotAndCold has an intense and undying love of the Superbuddies, particularly Booster Gold and Blue Beetle, a love made particularly bittersweet by the fact that she did not, in fact, become interested in comic books until 52 was well underway. She despises the characterization of Booster Gold in 52, and when Week 15 came out the Wednesday before her birthday, she declared it to be the worst birthday present ever. Afterwards, when Dan DiDio gave an interview in which he basically crapped all over Booster's character, HotAndCold developed a deep loathing of DC's Editor-in-Chief that is exceeded only by the loathing possessed by members of the Cass Cult. Soon thereafter, she made a impromptu guest Casstoon expressing her intense rage through use of extreme adorableness. It was fairly well received by the Cass Cult and HotAndCold has since made a total of five "Adventures of Booster and Cass" comics.

HotAndCold possesses the peculiar ability to focus on dialogue and characterization instead of bad art, allowing her to shamelessly be a fan of things most people would disagree with her on, such as Transformers Armada and even parts of Extreme Justice. She also possesses a peculiar love of extremely obscure characters, causing her to have an almost encyclopedic knowledge of characters that, in most cases, almost no one has ever even heard of. She also notices the most amazingly stupid details, which has come in handy for reading 52. At least, she thinks so. None of her theories based on said observations have actually been proven to be true quite yet, but they haven't been disproved, and she's feeling optimistic about them.

HotAndCold is peculiarly verbose and generally puts a great deal of thought into everything she posts, including this article. It's a bit sad, and she's pretty sure that nobody really actually cares, but, well, she's just weird like that.

HotAndCold plays trombone in her high school's band and enjoys referring to herself in the third person.

HotAndCold has an emotional attachment to bold font. In truth, she's actually more fond of italics, but she's trying to make this article, for lack of a better word, more Wikiesque. She's not entirely sure what she means by that, either.

HotAndCold is currently the clone of both Eegriega and Darklyndsea. She allegedly resembles a cross between Ykari and Darklyndsea, but she doesn't entirely see it herself, nor does she really care.

Threepwood is in love with her. She doesn't return said feelings, being a cold, heartless husk of a human being, but appreciates the gesture nonetheless.

HotAndCold has become famous for making chibis of various characters on request. For quite awhile, nearly every member of the board had an HnC chibi for an avatar and several still do. The chibis are always posted in black and white, but DoctorSneeze and Schide usually color them either on request, or simply because they want to.
