The Goddamn Batman is a term that, despite being only about six months old, has forever become a part of the Batman legend.

It was taken from "All Star Batman and Robin the Boy Wonder" (Or ASBARTBW for short) Issue #2. In it, Batman has just rescued/kidnapped a young Dick Grayson and is driving with him in the Batmobile, presumably to the Batcave.

When Dick asks who he is, Batman replies "What are you, dense? Are you retarded or something? Who the hell do you think I am? I'm the Goddamn Batman." Interestingly enough, Vicki Vale referred to Batman with this same name only an issue before. It seems to have become a recurring theme as Batman states "I love being the Goddamn Batman" in the much-delayed ASBARTBW #5.

Fans debate whether this 21 word phrase is the final bit of evidence that writer Frank Miller has truly gone insane, and has been living in Sin City far too long, or if he's brilliant for parodying himself for everyone to see.

Regardless, this is a term that shall not soon be forgotten to Bat-fans.
