He used this power to begin the events of [[Zero Hour]] in a plan to restore the universe as it should have been. Now it has been revealed by the writer [[Geoff Johns]] that Parallax was actually a sentient omnipotent creature fueled by fear. Or something. This thereby made everything not entirely Hal's fault. Good show sir.
