Gorman Gillis

Gorman Gillis is the father of Jack White, R. Leo Gillis, Stephen Gillis, Joe Gillis, Maureen Gillis, Anne Gillis, Barbara Gillis, Alan Gillis and Raymond Gillis.
He worked as the maintenance man of the Archdiocese of Detroit for nearly four decades. His wife of 53 years, Teresa Bandyk Gillis, worked as the Cardinal's secretary for the Archdiocese.
Gillis passed away on November 30, 2006 at the age of 79. Icky Thump is dedicated to him.
