Dean Fertita

Dean Fertita (born September 6, 1970 in Detroit, Michigan) is an American musician from Michigan.
From 2001 to 2005, he was the frontman for The Waxwings, who released three albums. The band's most popular song, "Fragile Girl", was covered by The White Stripes. The band also opened for the Stripes on at least one occasion.
Before The Raconteurs' first tour, it was announced that Dean Fertita would be joining as touring keyboardist. He remained for the duration of the tour, playing keyboards, guitar and percussion. He also appeared on the Raconteurs' second album, Consolers of the Lonely, playing clavinet.
He is currently the keyboardist for the hard rock group Queens of the Stone Age. He also sing backing vocals, plays guitar and percussion with the group. He is also currently the frontman for a band called Hello=Fire.
He is the lead guitarist in Jack White's new band, The Dead Weather with Alison Mosshart of The Kills, and Jack Lawrence of The Raconteurs.
