Dean Fertita (born September 6, 1970 in Royal Oak, Michigan) is a Michigan-based musician and multi-instrumentalist. He is currently a member of The Dead Weather and Queens of the Stone Age, and also released his first solo album in 2009 under the moniker Hello=Fire.

He formed the Detroit neo-psychedelia band The Waxwings in 1997. The band released three studio albums, and their most popular song, "Fragile Girl", was covered live by The White Stripes, whom they also opened for on at least one occasion. The band has been inactive since 2005, and all three members have moved on to other projects.
