'''Third Man Records''' is [[Jack White]]'s record label. It is distributed in America and most of the world through Warner Bros. Records and in the UK by XL Recordings. The label's name is yet another reference to [[The Number Three|the number three]], which Jack refers to frequently.

In addition to [[The White Stripes]]' six full-length albums, the label used to also be home to Grand Rapids, MI trio [[Whirlwind Heat]]. Both albums by [[The Raconteurs]] carry the Third Man logo. For the Raconteurs tour of the UK in October 2006, very limited live albums were on sale, with 1000 pressed for each show. These also carry the Third Man label.

The Muldoons, who feature Jack's former Upholsterers band mate Brian Muldoon and his two sons Shane and Hunter, will release their debut album through Third Man Records.

== Grand Opening ==
Third Man Records now has a physical location in downtown Nashville. White's new Third Man Records building serves as the company headquarters and houses the label's offices plus a vinyl record store, photo studio, dark room and performance stage.

In celebration of the building's opening, the label’s newest rock outfit, [[The Dead Weather]], delivered their first public performance with a set including songs from their forthcoming album, ''[[Horehound]]''. The band, fronted by [[Alison Mosshart]] (known to music fans as one half of [[The Kills]]) includes [[The Raconteurs]]' [[Jack Lawrence]] on bass, [[Dean Fertita]] from Queens Of The Stone Age on guitar and Jack White on drums and vocals. In addition to playing, White also served as producer on ''Horehound''. Recording took place earlier this year in just three weeks at the newly constructed Third Man Studio, designed from the ground up by White. Third Man plans a June release for the album.
