Supposedly, the leaked files were sent to station music director "Spike", and then promptly played on-air. Approximately two hours later, [[Jack White]] personally called Q101's main offices from Spain (the band was set to play Primavera Sound Festival in Barcelona the day after), and angrily complained to Electra, calling her "messed up for the entire (music) business." The source of the album's leak was never found, and there is speculation that [[Warner Bros.]]) supplied the album to the station in order to promote its release.
