''Reality Shift'' is the haphazard brainchild of [[Sillyevan]] and is self-classified as SiF's first "'''''Science SiFiction'''''" (Take THAT Alaric!). After reading through [[Alaric]]'s [[Rogue]] and [[Renegade]] stories as well as [[JimBobDunnie]]'s never-persued ''Caméra d'Or'', additionally never having been written into a SiFiction before, Sillyevan was compelled to write a SiFiction all his own. Taking elements from popular science fiction movies, Animes, and authors Sillyevan created technologically integrated future for mankind with a good deal of Earth's inhabitants able to interface directly with the Internet for extended periods of time (i.e. years on end) in order to work and live in the restricted freedom of cyberspace. ''Reality Shift'' was conceived like most of Sillyevan's other ideas starting with the ending, allowing for an interestingly new story telling format for SiF.

''Reality Shift'' was first posted in Janurary 2008 and is currently on hiatus.

==Current Cast of Characters==
''Reality Shift'' uses a rather unfamiliar title for all it's Internet inhabiting characters (those who are not currently referred to in the "Present Day" sections). Each name is assumed to have the prefix "'''nick:'''" in front of it (Ex. "nick: Sillyevan") so as to represent it being a username or avatar name. Like the title of Mister and Misstress they are normally not used in speech (or auditory text in the case of the virtual Internet simulator).
