Weekly Camping
The Minsi Camper’s Manual (Camp Minsi, Minsi Trails Council) List the follwing to bring for a week-long summer camp. We hear take there categories and modify it to a point value system. 1-point is recommended, 0 is optional and -1 is to leave at home. One day we plan on adding all the guides together and get an average on what each's items category. If you would to, please give your rating (and scale) to each item on it's page and/or ou user page.

Item each hiker should have:
- Day pack
- poncho or rain suit
- two quarts of water or other drinks
- bag lunch and/or power bars
- map and compass
- merit badge card
- small first aid kit or mole skin
- foot powder
- poly or wool sock and liner – to avoid blister, Do not wear cotton socks
- water proofed hiking boots
